As a family run business we are free to do what’s right for our guests, and our Plain Sailing Guarantee has been designed with that in mind. As the world slowly returns to normal, we want to give you every reassurance that if there are any unexpected changes before, during or after your cruise, you won’t need to worry about a thing.
RISK FREE DEPOSITS
You can book any Fred.Olsen cruise and change your mind before you sail. If you let us know no later than when your final balance is due, or an interim payment for a longer cruise, we will move your deposit to any other sailing within 12 months of your original travel dates with no transfer fees, after this time our normal transfer fees will apply.
‘GREEN’ COUNTRIES
Whilst the Government’s ‘Traffic Light’ system is in place, Fred.Olsen Cruises will only sail to destinations on the ‘Green List’. With smaller ships (and a team of talented journey planners!) it is a little easier to find similar alternative destinations, should they need to. If we have no choice but to cancel your cruise, whilst we would love for you to transfer to another, you can of course have a full refund, with no quibbles.
LOOKING AFTER YOU
Fred. Olsen have been working with the Government and our industry body CLIA to follow all the relevant guidance for cruises as they return to service. Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are in addition to Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ (FOCL) standard Terms and Conditions, which are available on our website, fredolsencruises.com, and on request. Both must be read before booking. Fares are per person, based on standard occupancy of the lead-in cabin of named category, subject to availability. ‘PP’ is per person based on 2 people sharing. Information shown is correct at time of going to print (July 2021), but fares are capacity controlled and may change at any time. Call for latest prices. All offers may be withdrawn or amended at any time without prior notice, cannot be combined, are subject to availability and cannot be applied retrospectively. Cruise descriptions (and images in the email) include optional, chargeable experiences that may be enjoyed independently and/or with optional Fred. Olsen. Shore Tours. Shore Tours are subject to availability and service operation. We reserve the right to amend itineraries for operational reasons. Some ports may be at anchor, intermediate days are at sea.
*On board spend: Free spend amount varies per cabin category, from £200 per person based on an interior cabin, up to £600 per person based on booking a Suite, valid for new bookings made from 28/07/21 on S2402, S240107 or S240207. On Board Spend is non-transferrable. No refunds will be given for the credit amount shown. No cash alternative will be given for unused spend. Complimentary or chargeable cabin upgrades, where applicable, will not alter the on board spend value. On board spend is applicable for a maximum of two guests per cabin and is not combinable with any other offer, (with the exception of the Enjoyment Promise). On board spend is capacity controlled and subject to availability. E&OE.
Enjoyment Promise terms and conditions:
The Enjoyment Promise excludes Party Nights and cruises for 4 or less nights. The promise only applies to Bookings made for departures more than 12 weeks ahead. The Enjoyment Promise only applies to Passengers who have contracted with FOCL and excludes cruises on vessels operated by FOCL but booked through third Party operators. Should you wish to invoke the Enjoyment Promise, you will need to inform Guest Relations within 48 hours of the Vessel's departure from the original port of embarkation at the latest. FOCL will arrange and pay for a flight and/or transport back to the UK. FOCL will refund the cruise cost only but will not refund other costs.
