The six-part adventure series, will follow beloved television personality and seasoned traveller, Jane McDonald, as she embarks on an extraordinary expedition from Antarctica to the Arctic. In this ultimate voyage of discovery, Jane will traverse continents, oceans, and time zones, experiencing the wonders of the world in her signature style – combining luxury travel with breathtaking landscapes and global adventure. Episode Guide

Jane McDonald begins her epic adventure in the least explored place on earth–The Antarctic Peninsula. Jane gets up close with the awe-inspiring wildlife, witnesses geological phenomena first-hand and pushes herself well out of her comfort zone; kayaking the treacherous waters around the frozen continent.

Part 1 : Jane’s transglobal adventure begins at The Antarctic Peninsula, reaching her extreme starting point by sea, air and foot!

Part 2 : Jane’s first exploration includes a thrilling zodiac ride around Winter Island getting up close with icebergs and the native wildlife, Jane gives long haul packing tips from her onboard suite and meets fellow passengers for supper to share transglobal stories of adventure.

Part 3 : Jane braves the dangerous Antarctic waters by kayak, attempts aerial yoga on the yacht to stay limber on her journey and takes the Zodiac boat out to explore the volcanic Livingstone island.

Part 4 : On foot, Jane explores the mountainous glacial terrain of Livingstone island and comes head to head with larger-than-life elephant seals.

Jane McDonald’s not-for-the-fainthearted voyage continues to the British Overseas territories of The South Georgia Islands and the Falklands. She follows in the footsteps of famous explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, learns about our brutal whaling history and celebrates conservation victories while meeting people who’ve chosen to settle in some of the remotest outposts on earth.

Part 1 : In the South Georgia islands, Jane reconnects with civilisation, starting in Grytviken meeting a museum curator on the site of an historic whaling station, then follows in the footsteps of renowned explorer, Sir Ernest Shackleton to learn more about his daring missions.

Part 2 : At Fortuna Bay, Jane comes face to face with the ten thousand King Penguins, discovers a safe haven for former whalers and explorers and shares tips on staying warm in extreme weather, before heading to the Falkland Islands.

Part 3 : Jane immerses herself in the Port Stanley community, enjoying a delicious afternoon tea that showcases locally grown produce, meets singers from the most southerly military wives choir in the world, and onboard her yacht shares how she keeps her skin healthy in challenging climates.

Part 4 : On a Saunders island sheep farm, Jane rounds up the herd on a quad bike, has a go at sheering.

Enroute to South America, Jane’s invited to the bridge to meet the yacht’s captain of her epic adventure, then on arrival in Uruguay, savours authentic dishes, goes wine-tasting in a hilltop vineyard and tours the dramatic coastline by boat, witnessing families of dolphins up close.

Part 1 : On the first South American leg of Jane’s journey, she tours Montevideo city to learn about its Colonial past and its rich and vibrant present, savouring authentic beef barbeque in the gastronomic hub in the historic port.

Part 2 : Jane travels to a Maldonado vineyard in one of Uruguay’s fastest growing wine regions and gets to sample a selection of flavours. Back onboard the yacht ,she’s invited to the bridge to meet the captain.

Part 3 : Jane’s journey continues to Brazil, beginning in beautiful Sao Francisco do Sul, where she learns traditional weaving techniques and is taken on an impromptu tour of the very best sights by a local resident she meets by chance.

Part 4 : From Pontal Do Sul, Jane takes a thrilling speedboat tour along the South Eastern coastline, exploring the caves, learning about local legends and sees dolphins up close.

Jane’s Brazilian leg of her journey continues, with a thrilling jeep tour of Ilha Bela, a guided kayak journey through the Paraty Mangroves a trolley bus ride around the glamorous Buzios Peninsula, made famous by Brigitte Bardot, and a cable car ride to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, for unparalleled views of Rio de Janeiro.

Part 1 : For the first time on jane’s epic journey, she’s visiting more traditional tourist hotspots, first on a guided jeep tour of beautiful Ilha Bela where she witnesses the strange phenomena of singing rocks.

Part 2 : Sailing along the Costa Verde coastline, Jane stops at exquisite Paraty, to explore the biodiverse Mangroves; a UNESCO world heritage site, by Kayak.

Part 3 : Jane sails in to the beautiful bay of Buzios, known as the Saint Tropez of Brazil, made famous by Brigitte Bardot, and explores the peninsula on a tourist trolley bus, and chats to fellow yacht passengers about their favourite places so far.

Part 4 : On the final leg of Jane’s Brazilian adventure she takes a cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf mountain for panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro and savours her final taste of Brazil at a mountain top bar.

Jane’s epic adventures continue in the Med as she travels through the famous Corinth canal to reach Italy, explores the historic streets of Gallipoli, follows in the footsteps of Hollywood legends in Sicily, savour the holiday favourite - the Sorrento liqueur, limoncello and soaks up the jetset glamour of Capri with a VIP boat tour

Part 1 : The Mediterranean leg of Jane’s journey begins as she sails through the impressive 19th century Corinth Canal, an awe-inspiring man-made waterway that connects the Aegean and Ionian seas to reach Italy.

Part 2 : Jane visits historic Gallipoli in Southern Italy and savours the famous local delicacy, purple prawns. After catching up with cruising first timers over sunset cocktails, sails to Sicily to hitch a ride on a vintage 3 wheeler around the Medieval town of Savoca immortalised by the Godfather movie trilogy.

Part 3 : Jane’s adventure continues in glamorous Capri with a VIP boat tour to see the famous Faraglioni stacks, goes shoe shopping for Jackie Kennedy’s signature sandal and then cools off on her yacht’s water platform with new friends

Part 4 : The final leg of Jane’s Italian adventure takes her to Sorrento, overlooking the bay of Naples to a lemon grove in the heart of the city to try the highly prized local liqueur, limoncello.

Jane reaches her final destination, deep in the Arctic Circle, exploring the most northerly inhabited archipelago in the world, Svalbard, a remote and rugged wilderness where Jane kayaks in icy fjords, encounters Polar Bears and Atlantic Walruses in their natural habitat and visits the longest glacier in the Northern hemisphere 

Part 1 : For Jane’s first Arctic encounter, she flies in to Longyearbyen, the Northern most inhabited town in the world to meet the people who call it home, including a outdoor adventures guide on the Arctic Tundra and the founder of the Northern most brewery on the planet. 

Part 2 : Jane’s yacht takes her to beautiful Bjornfjorden on the Northern tip of the Svalbard archipelago for a kayak tour of an icy fjord with the same guide she met at the start of her adventure in the Antarctic. Jane also visits the bridge to meet the captain and the polar bear safety team.

Part 3 : Jane witnesses her first sighting of the majestic polar bear from the bridge, takes a zodiac out to explore the breathtaking Brasvellbreen Glacier, the longest in the Northern hemisphere, catches up with fellow passengers on board for a spot of wildlife watching and visits Torrelneset to get up close with a huge huddle of Atlantic Walruses.

Part 4 : To mark the end of jane’s extraordinary Pole to Pole adventure, travelling over 15000 miles, she travels to the highest point on the Arctic leg of her journey – The Alkornet Mountain to take in the extraordinary sights.
