Attend a Great British Sailaway Party
Join in with the entertainment team while the ship sails away from port and enjoy everything British! Everyone is encouraged to wave their Union Jack’s and sing along to the best songs associated with each country of the United Kingdom. A delicious BBQ is provided and traditional Pimm’s cocktails are also on offer. There is usually an audience of guests onboard neighbouring ships who watch as we dance, sing and be merry together! They always look a bit jealous!
Take Part in a Fun Quiz
The entertainment team onboard deliver fantastic quizzes from sports, film and music to picture rounds and general knowledge. Everyone’s invited to take part, test themselves and compete to win.
Get Pampered at the Spa
The Oasis is the beautifully indulgent spa onboard Ventura where you can hang up your robe and relax in style. The Oasis Salon is the place to go when you want to be truly pampered – nothing is too much trouble! There is a huge range of treatments available for every occasion.
Book a Table at the Beach House
Be sure not to miss an evening at the Beach House by booking in early. This ‘pop up’ restaurant fills up very quickly and for only £7.50 per person it’s a bargain. American style dishes are served in a relaxed setting so it’s a nice alternative to the more formal alternatives onboard.
Listen to Amazing Live Music
‘The Waves’ were one of the house bands recently onboard Ventura who entertained everyone day and night. Taking requests from guests was one of my favourite things they did as it really showed off their musical talent and vast musical knowledge. The live music provided onboard is wonderful for upbeat parties and for a relaxing background while enjoying a delicious cocktail.

‘Astonish’ is a show full of illusion and wonder created exclusively for P&O by Stephen Mulhern and Jonathon Wilkes. The magic leaves you in awe and you even get to take part in an interactive trick. Needless to say my mind was blown!
Win Big at the Casino
Try your hand at one of the many slot machines or sit down at one of the gaming tables and let lady luck do her stuff! The casino exudes a brilliant atmosphere and the staff really make it amazing – they are happy to explain the games and get genuinely excited for guests lucky enough to win. Also, drinks are on the house for those who play the night away.
Party at Havana
What to do after you’ve enjoyed your pre-dinner drinks and a delicious three-course meal…Head to Havana for some post-dinner drinks and dancing. The entertainment team will take your song requests but expect you to fill the dancefloor in return and the friendly waiters are on hand to serve you so you don’t even need to go to the bar to order a drink!
Learn to Dance
Come along and be footloose in the Atrium where performers treat guests to various types of dance classes with some exclusive one-to-one tuition. Don’t be shy as others (not brave enough) will be watching as you learn to foxtrot, samba and salsa sensationally!
Book the Children Into the Kids Club
Feel safe in the knowledge that the children will be well looked after by enthusiastic and qualified ‘Reef Rangers’ at the ‘Reef Clubs’ onboard. Four clubs provide programmes, activities, games and dedicated areas for children aged 2-17.
