1. Space Needle
It is an observation tower that was built for the World Fair in 1962 and has been an icon of Seattle best way to see this amazing city from a great height – new refurbished. In August 2018, it unveiled its latest addition: the world's first and only revolving glass floor, known as "The Loupe."

Standing 500 feet -- or 50 stories -- above street level, the observation deck's new see-through floor offers 360-degree views of the large city.

2. Chihuly Glass and Gardens
The Chihuly Garden and Glass museum is dedicated to the work and career of locally born, world-renowned glassblower Dale Chihuly, who was introduced to the craft while studying at the University of Washington. It is the most comprehensive collection of his art to date, with interior galleries featuring a variety of his work in the medium.

The pièce de résistance is the glasshouse, with a vibrant 100-foot-long sculpture in hues of red, orange, and yellow suspended from the ceiling.

3. Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP)
Music, science fiction and pop culture all come together at the amazing Museum of Pop Culture.
The Museum was designed by Frank Gehry and looks like a smashed guitar from above.

Inside the exhibits cover everything from the history of indie video games and horror films to the band Nirvana along with Seattle Seahawks and more.

4. Seattle Great Wheel
A giant Ferris wheel at Pier 57 on Elliott Bay in Seattle.

With an overall height of 175 feet it was the tallest Ferris wheel on the West Coast of the United States when it opened on June 29 2012. It has 42 climate-controlled gondolas, each able to carry up to eight passengers.

The luxury VIP gondola, which had red leather seats and a glass floor, and seats four. A maximum capacity of 332. The 12-minute, three-revolution ride extends 40 feet out over Elliott Bay

5. Pike Place Market
From the iconic market sign and Rachel the Piggy Bank to the gum wall, the original Starbucks cafe, well over 225 local artisans selling their wares, the famous fish-tossing tradition, and music-playing street performers, there are enough sights and sounds at Pike Place Market to pack a day (or more).

7. Museum of Flight
This is a must for people interested in Aviation.

The Museum of Flight is one of the largest air and space collections in the country, with an overwhelming number of things to see—like a Boeing lunar rover and an Air Force One from the Eisenhower era—and do, including NASA space shuttle trainer tours and flight simulators.

8. The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour
Take a trip to an area near Everett and this is where you can visit the a working Boeing factory.
The world’s largest building by volume, to see Boeing 747s, Boeing 777s, and Boeing 787s Dreamliners in the making.

9. Seattle Aquarium
The Seattle Aquarium on the waterfront’s Pier 59, learn all about salmon, meet a few adorable sea otters, and greet the various sea creatures of the Pacific Ocean, from puffers to giant clams.

10. Sport Teams
There are three major sport teams that are based in Seattle – American Football you have the Seattle Seahawks who play their home games at CenturyLink Field less than a mile from Downtown Seattle.

The stadium is also used for Major League Soccer – the Seattle Sounders play at the same stadium.
Baseball is the other major sports team – the Seattle Mariners who play at Safeco Field now renamed T-Mobile Park
