Oceana is a large but nicely profiled ship that has a warm intimate feel yet a wide range of spacious public rooms. The four deck high atrium lobby and the use of a lot of glass on the upper decks provides light and space to the ship interiors.  Oceana passengers tend to be Mixed Ages and Mainly British. When all cabins have double occupancy, the ship provides a space ratio of 38.2 tons per passenger and a crew to passenger ratio of one for every 2.2 passengers. At full capacity the space ratio is 33.9 tons per passenger and the crew ratio is one to 2.5 passengers.

The cabins are medium sized with fridge, well designed and equipped with plenty of storage space and good sound proofing. The bathrooms are compact but do feature a reasonable size shower. Many outside cabins have balconies which are of limited space.

Contained within the sheltered aft base of the funnel is deck tennis, sports court for football & cricket, basketball and volleyball. The glass walled health spa comprises of aerobics and gym. Two of the four pools are rather small.

Casual and comfortable during the day. Evenings range from smart casual (shirt & trousers) to informal (jacket and tie for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies). Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.
£5.50 per person aged 12 and over will be added to passengers' on board accounts and is shared amongst the waiting staff and cabin stewards.
